This was our 2nd or 3rd time coming here. We made a reservation (it’s always quite busy) and got seated right when we arrived. Kevin was our bartender and he’s very friendly. We enjoyed a tasty cheese board and a couple of cocktails. My husband’s House Manhattan was fantastic and my Coco Bay was delicious. I wish their bar chairs were a bit more comfortable. Otherwise we really enjoyed our visit.
The Last Word is one of my favorite bars in Ann Arbor. It's a speakeasy with a nice dark flair. The cocktails are handcrafted and most of them have multiple layers of flavor. Highly recommend. Only downside: very pricy
Great cocktails and Great low calories food and small plates , Korean cauliflower and the pasta was so so good . We had such a great time at this speak easy !!
I absolutely LOVE this restaurant. A dear friend introduced it to me a few months ago now. I've already been back twice! The atmosphere is calm , refreshing and very inviting. The staff has a lot of knowledge on different drinks and individual spirits if you're looking to step outside your comfort zone. I also love their elk sliders! So many different flavors in a tiny burger it's to die for. You'll have to check them out. Last night I celebrated my birthday so I stepped outside of my comfort zone and brought a board game to play. Instead of feeling weird or out of place our waitress and the cook were intrigued and wanted to know how to play so it was really cool. Definitely one of my favorite spots! Oh! Parking is right around the corner.
Walked in as the kitchen was closing ordered just in time! Thank god we did The elk burger & sriracha fries were absolutely outstanding. I had the your my boy blue drink and my bf had snake oil something or another. We will be back 🙂 we even danced to the live dj!

Love this place. A quiet, unmarked speakeasy. Great drinks, amazing whiskey selection. Amazing food as well. You have to visit it, it’s like watching a movie and when you leave you feel like a cooler person. That’s how you feel at LW
Simply one of the best hidden (literally) gems in Ann Arbor. We have dined here several times and are blown away by the quality of food and drinks each time. Their handcut fries are by far the tastiest thing made from potatoes I have eaten. Perfectly crispy and salted, and they also come in truffle, paprika and other flavors. However, the classic salted is the best. I dream of these and they are the perfect appetizer to share with friends over drinks. Their lobster rangoons are to die for. They melt in your mouth and are very unique. We have enjoyed their steak and chicken bao buns each time. Their drink menu is curated to whatever vibe and taste you are feeling for the evening, whether it be light and simple, classic, or sweet and bold. The vibe is super hip and like you step back in time to a speakeasy. By far one of the best for food and drinks in A2!
